Toughphone - research before test

Some time ago I thought about which mobile phone would be the best phone in a typical agricultural conditions. I think, that I don’t have to convince anyone that mobile phone is required almost in every farm. Recently I've been on a few farms and each operator had a mobile phone. The question is which mobile phone is the best ...

Waiting for Bologna Show

I love the international exhibitions of agricultural equipment. You can see almost everything in there... except field demonstration. All exhibitors are doing everything to prepare for the big show. They want to show their designs in the coolest way possible. At the exhibition you can see super modern machines, designs straight from Star Wars, but also a historical machinery, which is huge pride for oldest companies.

Good example of such an event is the Italian EIMA. The next edition of EIMA International Exhibition will be held in November (7-11.11.2012) in Bologna. The organizer announced that in the exhibition halls of Bologna Trade Center, it will be possible to see products from all the major manufacturers. For me, the most important fact, is that there will be all italian manufacturers with their awesome design projects :)

Fortunately, the event remained only a little over 2 months ... I think I need to go to Bologna :)

Tractors on the catwalk

It is said that men are visual creatures ... I'm not going to argue. All the more, in recent times I began to pay more attention to the appearance of the tractors :). Perhaps this is partly a matter of my "eye" approach, but there is something more. I’m talking about machine designers, who make awesome things!

Look at the Lamborghini. Apart from the known standard referring to the name of popular sports cars, it appears that there is much more than these references. In my opinion, Lamborghini designers have designed one of the most sporting of all tractors in the world (R4). Dynamic body lines and aggressive silhouette is very sporty.

World biggest agricultural records

At the recently completed Olympic Games in London some superb records were broken. Such as the David Rudisha World Record in the 800 m run - awesome! I do not know if you know, but the fashion for the establishment of more and more stringent records also applies to agricultural operations. In recent years a number of superb results in very different “disciplines” were established.

Collector's Love

Less than a year ago I had the pleasure to visit Wilkowice (small town in Poland) for the third time. It is important because in this small town very atmospheric agricultural event is organized. I mean an Old Tractors and Agricultural Machinery Festival.

Like I said, I've been there three times already and every time I came back from Wilkowice I was very satisfied. First time I have been there as journalist/editor of Farmer magazine (agricultural magazine from Poland). After coming back I wrote then, one of my better articles ("Collector’s Love"), at least according to me :).

Welcome on FarmDriver.com

I have to admit, that it has been a long time since first thought about starting agricultural machinery blog came out (lub got into my mind). This is not a simple matter, and certainly it was not easy for FarmDriver.com. What was needed is the time and commitment of a number of creative people. Fortunately ... it worked.

Starting from today :) I will systematically (I hope :) ) share with you my thoughts about machines, sometimes emotions, and above all, the photos and videos with agricultural machinery off-course. And here we come to an important matter. FarmDrvier.com is not only a page where you are. In addition, or perhaps first of all, is the YouTube channel. On this YouTube channel I will present next episodes of my video blog (more on the YouTube tab). Take a look also on facebook. You can also find FarmDriver.com there. Each of these channels operate independently, so you may want to keep track of FDC (FarmDriver.com :)) wherever possible :).

If you would like to know more about me, I invite you to the "Driver" tab :). I think I've written some important information. You will find out who I am, where I come from and where I'm going :D

But I didn’t write anywhere, that I like writing… a lot! And when I say a lot I mean a loooot :D. It does not matter whether it is an article, news, e-mail, text message or a message on Skype - usually I write so many words that the recipient of my message has to take a break for a cup of coffee to read my scribble: D. But don’t worry :). Blogs are managed by its own laws, and I'm not going to break them.

From time to time, to complete my thought or give you more interesting information I will paste some links to articles on other sites. Of course, I would be grateful for any comments. I like to discuss almost as much as I like to write :). Therefore, I look forward to your involvement. One more thing. I try to translate all texts on this page in English, because I know how all the translators work :) (just little bit worse than me :D). But it will take some days, so be patient J Please J
